MADRID 14 Oct. () –

The Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, accused North Korea this Sunday of sending soldiers to the Russian Army within the framework of the growing alliance between Pyongyang and Moscow, after the South Korean authorities spoke of North Korean victims in the framework of the Russian invasion from Ukraine.

“We see a growing alliance between Russia and regimes like North Korea. It is no longer just about transferring weapons. In reality, it is about transferring people from North Korea to the occupation military forces,” the president declared during his daily speech.

On the occasion of these statements, Zelensky has reiterated that his Armed Forces “need more support”, ensuring that “true peace can only be achieved with force.” “Obviously, in such circumstances, our relationships with partners need to develop further,” he said.

“When we talk about giving Ukraine greater long-range capabilities and more decisive supplies for our forces, it is not just about a list of military equipment. It is about increasing pressure on the aggressor, pressure that will be stronger than we think. “Russia can handle it. And it’s about preventing an even bigger war,” he said.

kyiv DEMANDS MOSCOW ACCOUNT FOR EXECUTIONS OF SOLDIERS

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andri Sibiha has demanded through his profile on the social network Ukrainians are subjected to torture.

“Russia’s mistreatment of Ukrainian prisoners of war is absolute barbarity, a grave violation of International Humanitarian Law, the laws and customs of war,” he said. “The international community must take immediate action,” he added.

Sibiha has thus asked to issue arrest warrants by the International Criminal Court (ICC) “against Russian executioners and torturers”, as well as to “increase pressure to apply sanctions” and demand access to international observers and doctors to places of detention, facilitate the release of prisoners of war and all persons illegally detained”.

His remarks come after kyiv denounced the execution of nine soldiers who had surrendered after expending their ammunition during fighting in Russia’s western Kursk region.
