With phrases like “nothing serious has started in Ukraine yet” or “try to defeat us on the battlefield”, Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly challenged the West. His comments add to others, such as “in a nuclear war, Europe would be reduced to ashes.” Should this rhetoric be taken seriously? We analyze it in our program.
In recent days, the conflict in Ukraine has focused on attacks in Kramatorsk, Kharkiv and Sloviansk.
Two other events stood out this week: the signing of the formal protocol by the 30 members of NATO for the incorporation of Sweden and Finland and the conference that took place in Switzerland for the reconstruction of Ukraine. The participants agreed to rehabilitate the country even though the conflict is not over.
For his part, President Putin has said that he is willing to sit down at a dialogue table, but said that this willingness could be reduced if the conflict continues over time. In this edition of El Debate we analyze the latest events of the war in Ukraine from the hand of our guests:

– Fernando Wilson, doctor in history and professor at the Adolfo Ibáñez University in Chile.
