AMD has officially announced that it will present more news about Zen 4 for desktop next August 30. Alongside AMD Ryzen 7000 Series processors with Zen 4 cores, AMD will release the new X670 and X670E chipsets of which we have already known some details. Boards containing these chipsets will be available alongside processors, but we’ve already seen that can be booked various models of ASUS boards for these new processors.
From this German seller, there are available up to 9 models of ASUS motherboards with X670 and X670E chipset, but unfortunately if you want to find a cheap model this is not your option. The prices that have been published from 1,475 euros of the ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR X670E EXTREME up to the €483 of the cheapest model, the ASUS PRIME X670-P or 510 euros of the same model with WiFi connection.
For now the exact date is not known of the release of these new processors and boards, but the vendor has estimated a delivery time between 3 and 8 weeks which coincides with the leaked schedule of releases. Prices of some models of MSI boards have also recently been leaked, but these are somewhat cheaper than ASUS. The price of the cheapest model of the leaked MSI is up to 100 euros cheaper than the cheapest of the ASUS.
