Vice President of Costa Rica Stephan Brunner Neibig suffers a traffic accident

( Spanish) — The President of Costa Rica, Rodrigo Chaves Robles, reported this Saturday through a video that Vice President Stephan Brunner Neibig suffered a traffic accident during the presidential tour in the south of the country.

According to the first president, Stephan Brunner Neibig is doing well.

The president added that a member of the Presidential Protection Unit who was driving the vehicle died as a result of the accident, but he did not provide further details about the car incident.

Chaves Robles clarified that his team will continue with the activities of the presidential tour.
