VALORANT tweaks Gekko in patch 6.05

  • Fixed Gekko’s ult UI sticking on screen if the round ended while in possession of Pummel
  • Fixed a bug that prevented Carnalito from deactivating the Spike after using the command to swap teams in a custom game
  • Fixed a bug that allowed Goofy to escape an exaggerated distance when attempting to plant the Spike while airborne
  • Fixed a bug where Pogo Brutal’s damage could be evaded when crouching into the pit
  • Fixed a bug where Gnat’s torso would not trigger Cypher’s Tripwire (C)
  • Fixed a bug that would play the wrong animation when casting Goofy
  • Fixed a bug that prevented Gekko from planting the Spike in Spike Rush if Gosh was unable to plant it
  • Fixed Pogo Brutal’s English name displaying with “Mosh’s Pit” instead of “Mosh Pit”

GAMEPLAY SYSTEMS

  • Fixed a bug in the reticle that would disable the import button if you have 10 or more reticle profiles saved

PERFORMANCE

  • Memory in use performance metric is now updated when total memory performance metric is disabled

  • Fixed a bug where players would spawn more than once in the friends list in cases of bad platform disconnection
  • Fixed a bug where voice tooltips could display incorrectly when turning party or team voice chat on and off
  • Fixed a bug that would occasionally cause the invite menu to flicker
  • Fixed a bug where the number of online friends would not update after ending friendship with an online player
  • Fixed a bug that would keep friend requests pending even when auto-rejecting friend requests was turned on. Pending friend requests will now be automatically declined when activating that option
  • Fixed a bug in the notification system that sometimes displayed a blank space when confirming the sending of a friend request
  • We will now send a message to players notifying them that they will also be banned from competitive play if they have communication blocks
