VALORANT Since its inception it was very well accepted by the gaming community because the tactical shooter market was not well served. Counter-Strike, at that time, had not yet announced its second installment and had not responded to gamers’ requests.
However, maintaining the public is a difficult task for Riot Games. For this reason, it has put a token in a game mode that may attract new audiences: Team Deathmatch. Those who have enjoyed sessions in past Call of Duty will find this mode quite familiar.
Unlike the traditional game mode of 5 vs. 5 where the team that adds 13 points wins, in Team Deathmatch you must make eliminations until you get 100 points. The more time passes in the game, the better weapons will appear.
Another relevant gameplay change is that you won’t have to buy the skills, as they will recharge over time. One of the keys to winning is making combos with your teammates.
Finally, you will find scenarios inspired by the classic maps. Piazza, District and Kasbah are the three new maps, which have intricate passageways, boxes and obstacles to hide and ambush enemies.
ULTIMATE DEATHMATCH RULES
- timers:
Game duration: 9 min 30 sec, divided into four phases
Respawn Frequency: 1.5 sec - The first team to reach 100 kills:
Simple and straightforward: the team that gets 100 kills first wins
What happens if a match ends before a team reaches 100 kills? The team that wins will be the winner
What if the score is tied at the end? The game will end in a draw - Weapon Equipment:
You will be able to choose your loadout for each phase at the start of the game or when you are in the Spawn Room. With each new phase, your equipment and its lethality will automatically improve.
It is not necessary to take care of your economy, because there is none - Weapon Orbs:
Around the map there are Weapon Orbs at fixed locations with weapons available. Make sure you and your team are the first to reach them
The weapons from the Weapon Orb can be different in each match. These weapons are specific to each phase and improve as the game progresses.
You can destroy weapons from the Weapon Orb with (G) or the key you use to drop the weapons. Once destroyed, you will use the weapon from your equipment again
Weapons obtained from Weapon Orbs will have limited ammo and will be destroyed when they run out - Orbs:
All around the map are Recovery and Ultimate Orbs. Did you pick up an Orb of either type? Make sure your teammates gather around you, as both Orbs spawn zones that your allies can enter to receive the same effect as you. - Recovery Orbs:
Do you need healing? Recovery Orbs grant a buff that restores health and shield over 6 seconds
Salvage Orbs are available in certain sections of each map. But remember that the enemy team will want them too
The maximum shield you can recover depends on the equipment you have selected
Respawn Time: 30 sec - Ultimate Orbs and Percentage:
Ultimate Orbs spawn periodically in certain sections of each map
Picking up these Orbs charges a percentage of your ultimate, so get your percentage up to 100% to get your ultimate.
Did you get a kill? That will also increase the percentage of your ult - Fully Ready Skills:
Skills will recharge over time after being used
The recharge time depends on each ability - Spawn Room:
Upon death, you will respawn in the safety of your team’s Spawn Room
Upon respawning, you gain a buff that protects you from damage and abilities for 15 seconds. After 15 seconds, you’ll start taking damage from staying in the respawn room, so move fast!
