Users Reported Massive Crashes On Twitch; Is the streaming platform already working?

Tried to tune in to your favorite Twitch content creator, but had trouble seeing the live stream? Don’t worry, dozens of users and streamers were in the same situation. What happens is that the streaming platform experienced problems a few minutes ago.

Twitch experienced issues, is it back to normal yet?

According to reports, users were having trouble logging in, searching for live streams, or using chats. Also, content creators reported problems starting their streams. These errors manifested themselves around 12:00 PM, Mexico City time.

Dozens of users reported these failures, as can be seen on the Down Detector website. Shortly after, the streaming platform’s support account acknowledged the inconvenience and stated that it was already investigating the situation to provide solutions as soon as possible. Meanwhile, figures like Ibai Llanos took the opportunity to make fun of it.

“Today I did not stream and I have thrown down the Twitch servers. In a few hours I’ll plug everything back in, sorry for the inconvenience, ”commented the Spanish streamer to his more than 11 million followers on Twitter.

Luckily, the problems were fixed soon. About an hour after the first reports were shared, Twitch announced that they have resolved bugs that affected multiple areas of the platform. He stated that people who are still experiencing issues should restart the browser tab. Finally, he thanked the patience of the community.
