Through this video we invite you to explore the news of the update of the Gender Equality Observatory of Latin America and the Caribbean (OIG). The OIG objective is to make information available from countries in the region and facilitate the monitoring of international agreements on women’s rights and gender equality. The Observatory also works to strengthen the capacities of technical teams of the mechanisms for the advancement of women, national statistical offices and other government agencies. This Observatory is one of the first and most visited in ECLAC, with more than 100,000 visits monthly. The update that we present to you today includes significant improvements in its operation and design, guaranteeing more efficient access to OIG content.
