Up to 160 MB/s on the new Samsung EVO Plus and EVO Select microSD cards

Samsung has announced the launch of a new version of its Samsung microSD cards Evo Select and Samsung Evo Plus with capacities that start from 64 GB and can reach up to 1 TB in the models with greater storage.

The 1 TB models will arrive at the end of this year on the international market, while the rest of the 64 GB, 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB models are now available in Samsung's international online store.

These cards promise speeds up to 160 MB/s and meet A2, U3 and V30 performance clarifications for use in 4K photography and video, as well as tasks where a guaranteed minimum transfer speed is needed. This is, on the other hand, a considerable improvement that doubles the 80 MB/s achieved by previous Evo Plus models.
