The Higher Institute of Vocational Training UNIVERSE has announced a Intensive course on video game design and productionwhich runs from April 24 to 28 and includes technical sessions given by professionals from the PlayStation Talents Academy program.
The initiative seeks to respond to the demand for highly specialized technical profiles that for companies linked to the video game sector are difficult to find. And to do so, moreover, in a context in which the latest forecasts published by the Government estimate a growth of 30 percent in turnover until 2024 and an increase in employment of more than 8 percent, reaching 11,000 direct jobs that same year.
The intensive course takes place from April 24 to 28 in UNIVERSAE headquarters in San Sebastián de los Reyes (Madrid), as reported in a press release. It is mainly focused on students who are studying the Higher Degree in 3D Animations, Games and Interactive Environments.
The UNIVERSAE initiative has the support of PlayStation Talents Academythrough Daniel Sánchez and his Gammera Nest team, who will give a series of technical sessions. Together, students will be able to practice with some of the most advanced 3D Art programs for video games, and learn some of the secrets of producing ‘indie’ titles and triple A titles.
