Today the Intel Arc B serieswith the new Arc B580 and B570 as models that debut the Battlemage architecture with cores Xe2 Cores. We have given an in-depth review of all the new features of these cards and their architecture, but as a summary, remember that the most powerful model of the two presented, the Intel Arc B580, offers a Battlemage GPU BMG-G21 with 20 Xe2 Cores equipped with 5 render slices, 20 raytracing units, 160 W for TBP.

We can already tell you that we have the Intel Arc B580 limited edition in our laboratory, so before carrying out our entire battery of tests, we leave you with some photos of its unboxing to see what it looks like.

The card comes with a completely black case with a matte finish and the legend “intel ARX B580” in white. The rear part stands out with a large opening where you can see part of the heatsink in black as well.

Along with the card, a small cardboard model is included to assemble, with a slider to simulate the rotation of the fans.

This Intel model has two large fans placed in the main part, also surrounded by a matte black casing with two protruding edges that continue the shape of the fans themselves.

Between both cases, on the edge, you can see the total length of the block of aluminum fins that cools the card. In the center, an 8-pin PCI Express connector is responsible for supplying the 190 W that the entire card needs to operate.

In terms of connectivity, we can see the ports that we already mentioned in the article: three latest generation DisplayPort 2.1 along with an HDMI 2.1.

Comparing with the Sparkle Arc A580 OCthe Intel model of the B580 is longer, although it maintains a double-slot thickness.
