UNAM will deliver the Ricardo Torres Gaitán 2024 Master Chair to the Executive Secretary of ECLAC

The Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), José Manuel Salazar-Xirinachs, will receive the Ricardo Torres Gaitán Master Chair, 2024, from the Economic Research Institute (IIEc) of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). awarded annually to the most outstanding in the world’s economic field.

You are invited to witness the delivery of the Chair and, subsequently, the Master Conference “Rethink, reimagine, transform: the “what” and the “how” to move towards a more productive, inclusive and sustainable development model” that the Executive Secretary will dictate before the university community. On the same occasion, the bases for the Juan F. Noyola International Research Award in Economic Development promoted by ECLAC and UNAM will be announced.
