Zelensky assures that “all lives are worth the same” to ask for more protection against the Iranian missiles and drones used by Russia

The president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, stated this Tuesday that he will request a meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council to request more air defense systems just one day after reproaching his partners for not receiving the same help as Israel, which was helped by different countries when shooting down Iranian drones and missiles after the Tehran attack.
“Shahed drones and missiles are different escalation risks. Are human lives different, is the value of people different? No, they are not. We value all lives equally. We must protect them from terror at the same level “Ukraine will request a meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council to discuss the protection of the skies, the provision of anti-aircraft warfare, relevant systems and missiles,” Zelensky said in a speech.
In this sense, he has assured that kyiv is working to achieve “true equality in the defense against terror” throughout the world, in line with his reproaches for the actions of countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, or France in the neutralization of Iranian missiles.
Finally, he thanked the “leadership” of the German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, who met this Tuesday in Beijing with the Chinese President, Xi Jinping, and in which they discussed the possibility of achieving a “just peace” in Ukraine.
“I would like to express my special gratitude for (Scholz's) efforts for his leadership and relevant international communication and for the signals we have heard from Beijing. China can really help us restore just peace for Ukraine and stability in international relations.” , has added.
