The Armed Forces of Ukraine have affirmed this Friday that Russia “is trying to hide the massive losses” due to the recent counter-offensives launched by the Ukrainian forces, while highlighting that at least 200 Russian soldiers have died in the combats registered during the last 24 hours.

“The enemy is trying to hide the massive losses due to the fire damage caused by the Defense Forces against places of concentration of troops,” said the General Staff of the Ukrainian Army, before stressing that “as a result of effective bombing of high precision in Kherson, Vasilivka, Perevalsk and other settlements, the bodies of Russian soldiers have been evacuated in overcrowded trucks”.

Likewise, he pointed out that “the enemy continues to focus its efforts on altering the active actions” of the Ukrainian troops and on “Maintaining the temporarily captured territories”. “The enemy is attacking our positions on the line of contact, trying to take measures to regroup troops in different directions and carrying out aerial reconnaissance,” he stressed.

On the other hand, he has estimated at “about 54,050” the number of Russian soldiers killed in combat since the beginning of the war and has pointed out that 2,199 battle tanks, 1,302 artillery systems, 168 anti-aircraft defense systems and 311 multiple self-propelled and armored rocket launchers.

Along these lines, he stressed that 250 planes, 216 helicopters, 908 drones, 15 boats, 3,550 vehicles and fuel tanks and 121 pieces of special equipment have also been destroyed, while 233 cruise missiles have been shot down since the start of the hostilities, which broke out on February 24 by order of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“The Russian enemy suffered the greatest losses during the last day in the direction of Bakhmut and Donetsk,” he explained, before stressing that this data on casualties and material destroyed “is being updated.” “Hit the occupier. Let’s win together. Our strength is in the truth,” the Ukrainian Army General Staff has settled.
