The Ukrainian authorities have already received a first batch of ammunition linked to the initiative organized by the Czech Republic to alleviate supply needs on the battlefield, Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala announced this Tuesday.

“The first batch of ammunition (…) arrived in Ukraine some time ago. We will do whatever is necessary,” Fiala stated on his social network account X, without explaining when the delivery occurred or the number of projectiles provided. in this section.

Prague’s goal is to collect up to 800,000 shells. According to the Czech authorities, this program already has 18 partners – including several from the EU such as Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark and Lithuania – that have committed aid worth 1.6 billion euros.
