The Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed this Friday the use of combat drones against Russian Army positions in the vicinity of the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant, occupied by Russian soldiers.
As detailed by the Ukrainian military authorities, the objective of their operation has been a series of tent installations, as well as Russian military technology.
Among these destroyed Russian elements are both cars with anti-aircraft weapons, and ‘Grand’ model multiple rocket launcher systems.
“As a result of the attack, three racists (a term by which Ukraine sometimes refers to the Russian invaders) have died and twelve others have been injured,” the Ukrainian Armed Forces have detailed.
The pro-Russian authorities of the Zaporizhia region, largely taken over by Russian troops, had previously reported the attack, numbering eleven injured, four of them seriously.
At the beginning of March, the Russian Army seized the facilities of the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant, one of the largest in Europe, and which in the early stages of the war was already the scene of intense clashes.
