The Ukrainian military authorities have assured this Wednesday that they have destroyed a headquarters of the Russian forces in the city of Tokmak, in Zaporizhia, causing some 80 casualties, between deaths and injuries, a day after Moscow confirmed the death of 89 of its soldiers in Makivka, Kherson.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces has stated that as a result of the bombardment launched on January 3 on these facilities, at least 80 casualties have been caused among the Russian ranks, although it has not specified the number of wounded and deceased. During that day, fifteen attacks fell on the area.
In recent days, Ukraine has intensified its air offensives against Russian military positions and installations in the east of the country that have been partially occupied during the invasion.
This Tuesday, Moscow acknowledged having lost 89 soldiers after the bombardment of the town of Makivka, in the Donetsk region, while in Chulakivka, located in Kherson, Ukraine claimed to have left 500 Russian soldiers dead and wounded after an offensive launched last day of the year
