The head of Ukraine’s military intelligence services, Kirilo Budanov, said Thursday that Russia “will soon be forced” to withdraw its troops from Ukraine in the face of growing pressure both nationally and internationally.

“Russia will be forced to leave soon, if not this will quickly lead to the collapse of the regime. They have no other solution. The Russians have the opportunity to calmly get out of this situation that they themselves have created,” he said, according to what he has collected the government in a statement.

Thus, he has emphasized the growing internal and diplomatic pressure on Moscow, but has recalled that it was they who “did not want to stop and chose the path of violence”. “This is a problem for them”, she has assured her.

“Difficult times are coming for Russia. This will call into question the architecture of the region, which runs from Eastern Europe to the Asian part of Russia. This could promote a change in the configuration of the country itself,” he warned.

In this sense, he has indicated that “it is not an issue that can take decades” but that it could occur “quickly”. “The world does not need Russia today, which threatens the whole world. Russia will not change,” she concluded.
