Ukraine claims it has advanced between 600 and 1,000 meters on the Bakhmut front

A Ukrainian military spokesman, Serhi Cherevati, reported this Sunday that during the day the Ukrainian Armed Forces have managed to advance between 600 and 1,000 meters on the flanks to the south and north of the strategic town of Bakhmut.

“The Defense Forces have taken the initiative in the direction of Bakhmut and continue with their assault actions, overcoming the enemy. During the day they have covered between 600 and 1,000 meters on the flanks to the south and north of Bakhmut,” has Cherevati explained in statements to Ukrainian television received by the Ukrinform news agency.

In these attacks, 186 Russian soldiers would have died and another 224 would have been wounded. Eight others have been captured and a tank, an armored infantry vehicle and two self-propelled artillery pieces have been destroyed.

Two Grad rocket systems, three anti-tank launchers, three Msta-B howitzers, one Strila-10 anti-aircraft system, six field stores with ammunition, three Lancet kamikaze drones and one Orlan-10 drone have also been destroyed.
