Ukraine assures that Russian troops have withdrawn from Kremina, in the Lugansk region

A Zelensky adviser says that “the liberation of Donetsk and Lugansk” will create “political destabilization in Russia”

Sep. 13 () –

Ukrainian authorities have assured this Tuesday that Russian troops have left the city of Kremina, located in the Lugansk region (east), amid a series of counter-offensives launched by Ukrainian forces in recent days.

“The Russians have completely abandoned Kremina, although the Armed Forces have not yet entered the city,” said the head of the Lugansk Regional Administration, Serhiy Haidai, in a message on his Telegram account.

He also stressed that the authorities “are monitoring the situation in Liman, whose release is key to the region.” “There is fighting going on around the city,” he detailed, before stressing that “the large-scale de-occupation of Lugansk will start from Kremina and Svatovo.”

For his part, Mijailo Podoliak, adviser to the Presidency of Ukraine, pointed out that “the liberation of Donetsk and Lugansk will generate a domino effect, the collapse of the Russian front and political destabilization in Russia.” “It is possible. Weapons are needed”, he has valued through his account on the social network Twitter.

In this sense, Podoliak has denounced that “Russia fights against civilians, so it is mandatory to have the protection of critical infrastructure facilities through air defense systems.”
