April 21 () –

The Ukrainian Army announced this Sunday an attack against the Russian rescue ship 'Kommuna', the oldest of its kind still active, which in principle has left it inoperative in the port of Sevastopol (Crimea), according to kyiv .

“The nature of the damage is being clarified, but now the ship cannot perform its tasks,” said the spokesman for the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmitro Pletenchuk.

“This will be repeated until the Russians run out of ships or withdraw from Crimea,” the spokesman warned in a statement published on his Facebook website. The attack appears to have taken place with an anti-ship missile.

The governor of the city's Russian authority, Mijailo Razvozhaev, has also confirmed the attack on the ship but has assured that it was repelled and that the ship only suffered minimal damage from the remains of the anti-ship missile that fell in flames on its deck.
