September 2 (EUROPA PRESS) –
At least two people were killed on Monday in a bombing carried out by an Israeli army drone against a vehicle traveling near the city of Naqura, in southern Lebanon, Lebanese authorities confirmed.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health said in a statement posted on its Facebook account that the attack carried out by “the enemy” had left “two martyrs”, although Israel has not yet commented on the incident.
Local sources cited by the Lebanese daily L’Orient-Le Jour said the dead were an employee of the Techno Building Materials company identified as Mahdi Mahdi – brother of a Hezbollah fighter killed on May 21 – and his cousin Ali Yusef Mahdi.
Hezbollah has not yet reacted to the latest Israeli attack on Lebanese territory, although it has confirmed in recent hours an artillery attack against an Israeli military position in the north of the country, as reported by the television channel Al Manar, linked to the group.
