( Spanish) — The State Attorney General’s Office reported this Wednesday through a statement that two people were found dead in a hotel in the Pescadero community, in the Todos Santos district of Baja California, as a result of intoxication with a substance still to be determined.
The Attorney General’s Office added that one of the deceased is a 22-year-old woman of United States nationality. The second dead person is a man whose age or nationality the authorities have not reported. The authorities do not specify in the statement if the two people found were a sentimental couple or not.
The authorities reported that the Forensic Medical Service of the PGJE, in the city of La Paz, carried out the legal autopsy and added that they found no evidence of violence or alteration of the scene in the place.
The Attorney General’s Office added that the technical-scientific examination carried out by the forensic doctors of the PGJE determined intoxication by a substance to be determined as the cause of death, with no traces of violence in the body and that the bodies had been lifeless for more than 10 hours when they were found.
