At least two people have died and more than 30 have been injured this Wednesday after a train derailed at the Msaken station, located in the Tunisian province of Susa, in the northeast of the country, without there being any details about the causes of the crash. Sinister.

Sources cited by the Tunisian station Mosaique FM have indicated that the deceased are the driver and one of the passengers, while they have pointed out that 32 people have had to be transferred to hospitals in the area due to injuries suffered by the derailment.

The director of the regional health services, Mohamed Ruis, has stated that most of the injured have already been discharged, without specifying whether any of those hospitalized are in serious condition. For its part, the Tunisian National Railway Society has not yet ruled on the accident.
