Two miners trapped after mine explosion in Cundinamarca, Colombia

() — The governor of Cundinamarca, Nicolás García Bustos, reported this Tuesday through his verified Twitter account that an explosion occurred in three interconnected mines in the Sutatausa area, Colombia.

The governor added that seven miners have managed to get out of the mines and two are still trapped.

Given the magnitude of the explosion, the governor added that a support team from the Cogua, Gachancipá and Chocontá firefighters has been mobilized to the area to rescue the miners.

So far there is no official report of deaths or injuries.
