Two military and six alleged terrorists die in an operation of the Pakistan army

Madrid Jan 30 (Europa Press) –

At least two Pakistani military and six terrorist alleged have died this Thursday in an operation carried out by the Pakistan army in the Northern Waziristan district, located in the northwest of the country and near the border with Afghanistan.

The country’s armed forces have indicated in a statement that the operation was launched following information collected by Pakistani intelligence in the vicinity of Mir Ali, in Waziristan of the North, where the presence of “Jariyíes” had been detected.

“During the operation, our troops maintained confrontations with militiamen, which has led to six Jariyís to have been sent to hell,” said the army, which makes use of this term to refer to the militiamen of the Tehrik-i-i-i-i- Taliban Pakistan (TTP), known as the Pakistani Taliban.

Thus, he has honored the memory of the two dead soldiers, identified as Hamza Israr, 29, and Muhamad Naim, 26, who “bravely fought during the intense attacks” between the parties.

In this sense, the Pakistani forces have indicated that the relevant measures have been launched to proceed to the “elimination of other terrorists.” “We are determined to erase these map soldiers and the sacrifices of our brave soldiers reinforce this resolution,” they have argued.

Terrorist attacks have increased in the country since the TTP broke the high fire agreement with the Pakistani government. The 2024 years became one of the deadliest for security forces after 685 troops lost their lives in more than 400 attacks.
