() — Two men escaped from the Henry County, Tennessee, jail through the roof of the cell, according to a statement from the Henry County Sheriff’s Officethis Monday.

According to the statement, police are asking the public to be on the lookout for Ronnie Sharp, 48, and Joshua Harris, 40.

The statement said the two men forced open the ceiling of the cell and then opened a skylight in the ceiling.

“They then left the Henry County Jail at an unknown address,” the statement said.

According to the release, police believe the men are responsible for stealing a white 2006 Chevy 3500 four-door with a black dump bed from a location on Highway 69 North.

Police said both men were considered dangerous and asked the public not to approach them if they are seen.

“Joshua Harris was serving time for violation of sentence, but has a history of evading arrest, property theft and burglary,” the statement said.

He is 6’2″ tall and weighs 150 pounds, and his last known address is in Paris, Tennessee.

According to the statement, Sharp, who is 156cm tall and weighs 73kg, was in jail on numerous pending charges, including kidnapping, aggravated assault, assault on an officer, evading arrest, property theft and burglary. .

Sharp’s last known address is Hazel, Kentucky.

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office urges anyone with information to call their local law enforcement agency.
