Two leaked images of the RTX 4060 hint at a two-slot thick design

It seems that someone already has at least one unit of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Founders Editionand it is that according to what we can read in Guru 3Dthis card It arrives with a design in line with the rest of the company’s Founders Edition cardsboth for this generation and for the previous one.

However, as it is a lower-end card, its cooling requirements are, logically, lower too, thanks to which we find ourselves with a graphics card that will provide a breather to all those users who have small computers thanks to its more compact design with two slots thick.

This card is expected to have 3072 CUDA cores and a consumption of 115Wand although 75W of those 115W will arrive through the PCI Express Gen 4 x8 slot, it is quite likely that we will continue to have the infamous 12+4 pin connector that gave so many headaches on the RTX 4090, but that should be impossible in this model – especially if we make sure to put it to the bottom.

Be that as it may, this makes it clear that we are very close to the launch of this graphics card, so we just have to wait.
