Two New York lawyers have seen how the use of ChatGPT has been expensive, because in one of his cases the artificial intelligence of OpenAI was used to draft several legal documents that had some citations. These quotes, however, they were totally made up by artificial intelligence, but none of the lawyers knew that.

This is one of the main dangers of artificial intelligence, because although many users believe that ChatGPT has the absolute truth, we really have a technology that can deliver completely wrong information with overwhelming confidence, something that can make us believe in it.

It is to be hoped that this will happen in other areas, not only in the legal one, something that made websites like Stack Overflow ban the use of ChatGPT in their responses before the appearance of answers that seemed real, but were not.
