MADRID 11 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Two Israelis were injured this Monday after being run over at a military checkpoint during an operation by the Israeli Armed Forces in the West Bank town of Al Jader, near Bethlehem.
A Palestinian would have accelerated his vehicle against the military to skip the checkpoint, according to the Army, which has launched an operation to locate the suspect.
Medical sources cited by ‘The Times of Israel’ claim that there are two Israelis who had to receive medical attention at the scene.
“During an action by the Etzion Brigade of the Israel Defense Forces in the El Jader area, a Palestinian vehicle recently drove through a roadblock and carried out a hit-and-run attack. The vehicle fled. Numerous troops are carrying out searches in the area,” explained the Israeli Army.
