( Spanish) — Two European tourists were expelled from Machu Picchu this Thursday when surveillance personnel from the archaeological park found one of them naked and his friend trying to take a picture of him near the sector known as the House of the Guardian.
The citizens of Swiss and French origin violated the visiting regulations of Machu Picchu, and therefore, were made available to the National Policeconfirmed Maritza Rosa Candia, director of the Decentralized Directorate of Culture of Cusco.
The photographs were eliminated in the presence of the police, and the tourists were seized for the crime of “public indecentness, exhibitions and obscene publications”, as confirmed by the police through a message on their official Twitter account.
