“As a result of an enemy missile attack against the peninsula in the Simferopol region, two bystanders have died. I express my sincere condolences to the relatives and friends of the victims,” ​​the governor of Crimea, Sergei Aksionov, published in his Telegram channel.

In addition, Russian authorities have recorded another attack in Alushta, also in Crimea, after a projectile hit a commercial establishment, which was empty at the time, so no casualties have been reported.

At the beginning of the week, British Military Intelligence estimated that Ukrainian attacks against Russian positions in the Crimean peninsula will end up causing the “dispersion” of the Russian air forces deployed there, and which are already quite “degraded.”

Recently, the Ukrainian Army managed to sink a Russian Navy corvette during a “coordinated long-range attack” carried out on May 19 in the city of Sevastopol. kyiv also reported the sinking of the Russian minesweeper ‘Kovrovets’, something denied by Moscow.
