Twitter lays off more workers again



Despite laying off thousands of workers, Twitter seems to continue noticing that it has plenty of ballast, and it is not for less taking into account the economic problems that may come to face before the massive cut in advertising that is suffering. Now, as we read in TechCrunch, a new round of layoffs has wiped out half of Twitter’s public policy team.

We can read that several infrastructure engineers have also been fired through an email, while Theodora Skedas, also fired, explains that she was responsible for the management of the trust and security council, among other things, in charge of moderating problems related to human rights, sexual abuse of minors and suicide prevention.

On the plain evidence that the security and comfort of users on Twitter are in full decline since the entry of Elon Muskpart of the council resigned, after which Twitter lashed out dissolving the entire council at the same time as Elon Musk said that tasks such as those performed by this council were his first priority.

In any case, an estimated 75% of Twitter employees have been fired or have resigned from their jobs.
