Twitter has published its first edited tweet

We’ve known for some time that Twitter’s paid subscription will be the designated place, for now, to have the ability to edit our tweets. However, the privilege of being able to publish the first edited tweet on the platform has been left to the social network itself, as we see below.

As would be expected, edited tweets are marked as suchso that by clicking on the corresponding legend, we can see the history of editions of the tweet, thus allowing to eliminate any type of possible deception that they want us to believe before an edited tweet, such as provoking a negative reaction from someone so that they respond badly, and then changing the original tweet.

However, for now some important details about how this feature will work are unknown, such as the maximum limit of edits in a tweet, or if there will be the possibility of hiding or deleting the history of tweet edits, something that would be disastrous for a platform like Twitter, which can become very toxic at times.

Be that as it may, this tweet is nothing more than a way like any other to announce that, finally, the feature is already functional in the social network, although we do not know if it will reach the free users of it.
