Oct. 14 (Portaltic/EP) –
Twitter has joined in a test Communities and Spaces with the aim of allowing administrators to host live audio conversations related to the specific interest that the group is looking at.
The technology company has started this Wednesday the tests that allow live audio conversations to be brought to the Communities. The spaces are found as one more option, along with composing a ‘tweet’ or sharing a gif.
With the spaces, the company hopes let the conversation expand beyond the 280 characters that each ‘tweet’ admits, with live talks on specific topics about a common interest, as explained in a statement collected by 9to5Mac.
Administrators and moderators will be able to manage the audio chat, and invite participants from among the Community members. However, and as the company clarifies through the profile Twitter Communities, any user of this platform will be able to see and join a space started in a Communityalthough you will not be able to leave comments.
At the moment, this integration of the two tools is being tested with a group of users in United States.
