Twitter has announced officially that your app will launch a test version of Twitter Spaces today that includes podcasts, something that will allow users to listen to complete programs through playlists selected according to their interests. This is something that it can look a lot like, for example, Spotify, because essentially it will be something similar, but not the same.
The Spaces tab has been redesigned to house something called Stations, which is where you can find the podcasts. These podcasts will come from RSS feeds to Twitter, and instead of being a place where we can listen to the podcast we want at any given moment, we will be subject to what would essentially be a kind of radio station.
As expected, the more podcasts users listen to, the more user-oriented they will be, so initially the first podcasts we listen to they can be rather boring for us or related to topics in which we usually might not have much interest.
This is certainly not the first entry into the audio segment by Twitter, as this comes just after the launch of Spaces, so we will have to see how this works for the company.
