Trump defends himself in the final arguments phase of the 'Stormy Daniels' case

The defense of former President Donald Trump and prosecutors entered the phase of final arguments this Tuesday, May 28, in the case known as ‘Stormy Daniels’. The jury is trying to establish the responsibility or innocence of the former president in the alleged falsification of documents to hide a payment of $150,000 to the porn actress ‘Stormy Daniels’, during the 2016 presidential campaign, in exchange for buying her silence for a sexual encounter that they would have maintained a decade earlier and that Trump denies. The former head of state faces 34 charges. Upon his arrival at the Court in Manhattan, Trump once again attacked his country’s Justice Department, stating that it was an attempt to stop his possible return to the White House.
