ASUS has launched its new Chromebox 5 CN67, a small computer in NUC format that runs Google’s cloud-based operating system “Chrome OS” and that we already got to know at CES 2023. Inside its small case it hides a Qi wireless charging charger that allows you to recharge compatible devices such as Smartphones just by placing them on the equipment. This system is capable of offering 15 W of power to charge devices.

The ASUS Chromebox 5 CN67 has inside an Intel Core Alder Lake processor to choose between the Core i3-1220P, the Core i5-1240P or the Core i7-1260P, along with a maximum of 32 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM. distributed in two So-DIMM modules.

For storage we have three options: Either a 128 GB PCIe 3.0 M.2 SSD, or two 128 or 256 GB PCIe 4.0 options. It also does not lack WiFi 6E or Bluetooth 5.2

The compatibility with Thunderbolt 4 of 40 Gbps in its USB-C port is striking, something that is not usual in this type of computers with Chrome OS. It is also accompanied by two HDMI connectors and a DisplayPort, as well as a small microSD card reader, a minijack for input and output audio, two USB-A 3.1 10 Gbps (3.2 gen 2), another two USB-A 3.0 and a 2.5 Gbps RJ45 Ethernet network port. In total, we can add up to four 4K displays at the same time.
