ByteDance has announced a new music streaming service, TikTok Musicwhich was initially launched in the Brazilian and Indonesian markets with a social nature, since it allows listening, downloading and sharing audio tracks with user communities.
TikTok Music is a new subscription service which gives access to streaming music‘ that syncs with the main TikTok ‘app’ to listen to music and discover new artists through recommendations. It allows you to import playlists and search for songs through their lyrics.
The company has highlighted its social charactersince it allows you to create collaborative playlists with friends, and find a community with similar tastes with which to comment and share stories, as you can see in your official blog of Brazil.
It also has the possibility to sing the lyrics of the songs in real time, to play the viral songs of TikTok in full and identify any song with a Shazam-style sound identifier.
Within TikTok Music users will find a catalog of songs from thousands of artists from record companies such as Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group and Sony Music, who may play without ads and offline by downloading it.
The TikTok Music (iOS/Android) subscription is currently available in Brazil and Indonesia, where ByteDance has announced that it will retire the music streaming service Resso.
