Ticketmaster is investigating a possible security incident after the hacker collective ShinyHunters claimed to have in its possession data of 560 million users of this ticket purchasing platform.
ShinyHunters has put up for sale on a forum 1.3TB of data with information from 560 million Ticketmaster users, which includes everything from email addresses and phone numbers to sales details and part of the bank card data, according to reports specialized portals such as Hackread and CyberDaily.
This incident is currently being investigated by Ticketmaster and the Australian Department of Home Affairs, as confirmed by a spokesperson for the Department of Home Affairs. last to abc.
