At least three people have died on Wednesday after a small plane crashed near the town of Kamskoye Ustie, located in the Russian region of Tatarstan (west), according to emergency services in the Eurasian country.
Sources cited by the Russian news agency Interfax have detailed that the aircraft involved is a Cessna 172 that was participating in “a flight for recreational purposes” and have added that “it crashed while performing a manoeuvre at an extremely low altitude.”
They also said that the pilot of the plane was among the dead, while a fourth person who was on the plane managed to jump out of it before the impact and has been hospitalized with several fractures, although the severity of his condition is not known.
