The Tunisian authorities announced this Monday that they have arrested three alleged terrorists who were at large and who were wanted for belonging to a terrorist organization.
The General Directorate of the National Guard (DGGN) has indicated in a statement published on its profile on the social network Facebook that the security force units have carried out three operations: in the city of Teboulba (north), in the town of Sidi Bouzid (center) and in Mareth (southeast).
According to the authorities, the man detained in Mareth is sentenced in absentia to 42 years in prison. All of them have been sent to the competent units to take the necessary legal measures.
