Discounts for young people on trips around Spain

In addition to the Interrail discounts, the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (Mitma) also published on June 1 the resolutions that set the conditions of sale and use of the discounted tickets so that young people between the ages of 18 and 30 can travel by train this summer in Spainof the June 15 to September 15.

Renfe was the first company to put these tickets on sale, with 50% discounts on AVE, Avlo, Alvia, Intercity and Euromed trains, with a maximum discount of 30 euros per ticket; of the fifty% for titles Avant singlesand of the 90% for him rest of services Medium Distance or Metric Gauge network.

To benefit from these measures, both for Interrail and for trips through Spain, young people born between 1993 and 2005 must register on the Mitma web form to confirm that they meet the requirements and, where appropriate, obtain the personal and non-transferable code which they must use to purchase the Interrail pass and discounted tickets.

In addition to the discounts approved by the Government, the company gives away a free trip as long as they have traveled at least twice with its loyalty program.

Registration must be done at least 24 hours before purchasing the first ticket. Interested parties can register through qualified electronic certificates, such as the system [email protected]or by entering the name and surname, the date of birth and the DNI number, together with the date of validity, or the NIE, together with the support number of the EU Citizen Registry and nationality.

The code, made up of the DNI or NIE number and a set of characters, is sent to the mobile phone or by email, and is valid for the entire period, from June 15 to September 15, 2023.

Free travel in Renfe
