One of the most anticipated moments of the year has arrived: the Call of Duty Nexta great event in Washington DC to which our friends from invited us Activision to enjoy, along with other media and a large number of renowned streamers, the news of what awaits the community in Call of Duty Black Ops 6 and Warzone.
What was it like to experience this adventure in the most popular shooter of today? Is it an experience that all gamers should have? Did we have good aim? Join us on this fantastic journey and find out all the details.
Day 1: An experience that started on the right foot
We arrived at The Watergate Hotela historic building in the United States that looked impressive and on this occasion had several areas decorated with details of Call of DutyWe can safely say that our first impression was that we had arrived in shooter paradise.
If that wasn’t enough, let us brag to you that at the time of checking in at the location we were fortunate to train alongside different recognized streamers, including some like Space Marmot, Chuy Mine, Tactical Gramma and up to Riversthe recent winner of the Streamer of the Year award.
Day 2: We visited the event venue and there were many surprises
To start, all those present were able to go to a Photo Oppan interesting activity in which we dressed up as soldiers and chose our weapon for a photo session, as well as being scanned so that a figure with our appearance could be created.
A little later, we attended a small conference with those in charge of the saga in Treyarch and Activisionwho shared very secret things with us Black Ops 6 and Warzone which we were not prepared for, but which increased our desire to play them and we only had to prepare for the emotions that were coming our way.
Thanks to this, the guests launched themselves into the spectacular National Building Museuma place that opened its doors to give us a taste of what awaited us the next day. The best thing is that our transfer was in buses decorated with advertising for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and they were escorted by several motorcycles that drew attention by doing stunts while displaying the game’s flags.
He National Building Museum welcomed us with an orange carpet that left us speechless: at the end of the path an impressive and terrifying place awaited us Mega Abomination. Believe us, being so close to him was very intense.
The building, built in 1887, showed a new, truly modern face that never ceased to surprise, as we found ourselves in a huge room full of ornaments from the Activision franchise. We are referring to different statues with blindfolds, flags of Call of Duty[/i]the popular RC-XD and even the brand’s real off-road vehicles Polaris that we would love to have in our garage. Of course, without forgetting the stations with the latest generation computers and all their accessories to test what the saga is about to offer.
Later, we were escorted to the International Spy Museum from the American capital to enjoy an evening on the rooftop that held another surprise. If you were following the event, you surely heard that we had a wedding. That’s right, suddenly we were invited to be part of the most important moment of 2 people. We must confess that at first we thought it was a joke, but then the streamers appeared TheCallofDutyDJ and chloejaggerwho decided to take advantage of the occasion to put together their squad for life and, at the same time, invite us to the cake.
Day 3: The [i]Call of Duty Next is here and we know what awaits fans
The most important day of the trip caught up with us and we prepared to go once again to the National Building Museumwhere they were already waiting for us to try out the Multiplayer and Zombies of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and the new map of Call of Duty: Warzone.
The live stream began and while media and streamers tried out each of these modes, the entire world was getting to know what this great franchise has to offer.
Of course we took advantage and tested first hand the game’s Multiplayer and its interesting Omnimovementthe new possibility that gamers will have to enjoy great agility in each movement and even get human shields; the return of the hordes of enemies in Zombies mode, one of our favorites; and the Area 99the new map for Warzone.
He Call of Duty Next It was carried out through a feeling of joy and competitiveness as we faced the most talented players in the world. Needless to say, the time allotted to play flew by and we had to settle for a small taste of what Treyarch, Raven and Activision are preparing. The good thing is that the impressions were positive and in the end we were all satisfied despite all the headshots they took of us.
Our favorite moment? It’s easy, plus we get to play the new Call of Dutywe were able to talk with those responsible for the saga, such as Miles Lesliecreative director of Treyarchand we were amazed by their kindness and attention at all times.
Day 4: The Polaris experience is about to begin
Although some people finished their trip on the same day as the Call of Duty Nextwe were invited to stay a little longer to enjoy the Polaris Experience. Because of this, we prepared to move to an open-country area where we were able to see everything that the automotive brand’s impressive all-terrain vehicles have to offer.
The experience included spectacular training that any elite soldier must undergo, and we were surprised by our skills, worthy of any character on a map from the franchise.
One of the tests was to drive one of the RC-XD (Remote Control Xtreme Detonation) that appear in multiplayer Black Opsand participate in races with 4 participants to reach the final and one of them wins.
Another training session was knife combat, where we were able to select between different knives and axes to aim and throw at different targets. This activity was one of the ones we mastered best.
And finally, the most important test of all came: getting into the all-terrain vehicles of Polaris to check the perimeter. For security reasons, a professional pilot did what was necessary to give us an unforgettable ride on a sandy field full of ramps and in a large forest where we had to be alert for any enemy presence.
Needless to say, the ride was at tremendous speed and there were times when the wind prevented us from seeing well despite the helmet and protectors. However, everything felt like we were on a roller coaster at ground level and we would have liked to stay in the vehicle for hours to feel the adrenaline. Without a doubt, one of the best moments of the entire trip. And yes, our backs are fine.
Thanks to this experience offered by Polaris We were able to experience firsthand what the characters in the saga do and we even felt as if we were one of them for a few moments.
Call of Duty Next: A Gift for All Shooter Lovers
By now it must have become clear that this event Activision It was a huge delight for all of us who had the opportunity to attend and also for those who watched the online broadcast.
Now, we can say that the Call of Duty Next This year’s event was an incredible and unforgettable experience, where we participated in different fun activities, tried out the latest in the shooter, talked to the creative minds behind the saga and, above all, received impeccable treatment from its organizers so that each day was unique and impressive.
