The American director, writer and producer used his Twitter account to confess that what he saw in the trailer for the TV series was tremendous: “Please, nobody tell Craig Mazin that I said it, but this looks tremendous,” expressed the filmmaker, who used this way of admitting it due to the colleague relationship he has with Mazin, in charge of the adaptation.
In case you don’t know Johnson, you should know that he is a renowned filmmaker who has worked as a director and screenwriter for films like Star Wars: The Last Jedi Y Knives Outas well as directing the upcoming Peacock series PokerFace and some episodes breaking bad. Also, he is a fan of Pokemon and has even been seen wearing Pokémon GO during their break periods on the set of PokerFace. In fact, to promote an event in said game a few years ago, he teamed up with Niantic and The Pokémon Company to direct a commercial.
