Third in-person workshop to exchange experiences and knowledge, La Plata, Argentina

The Natural Resources Division (DRN) of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) and YPF Tecnología (Y-TEC), with the support of the MinSus Program of German Cooperation, organized the third in-person workshop “Exchange of Experiences and knowledge, La Plata, Argentina.” Within the framework of the “Permanent forum for technical dialogue on innovation, technological development and value addition to lithium in the countries of the Triangle and Mexico”, facilitated by ECLAC.

The objective of this third workshop is to share experiences and knowledge in battery chemistry, processes and technologies for the production of lithium-ion cells and batteries; and experiences in governance issues of public lithium companies. In addition, the meeting includes a visit to the YPF Technology (Y-TEC) laboratories, located in Berisso, Buenos Aires Province of Argentina, and to the “National Plant for the Technological Development of Lithium Cells and Batteries”, UniLib, located in the National University of La Plata (UNLP).

The Exchange of Experiences and Knowledge is aimed at the delegations of the countries that are part of the Permanent Forum for Lithium Technical Dialogue.
