( Spanish) — The judge investigating the alleged assassination attempt against the vice president of Argentina, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, will take this Tuesday an investigative statement from Brenda Elizabeth Uliarte, the girlfriend of Fernando Sabag Montiel, the accused of pointing and triggering a weapon, which was not fired , to the former president of the country, two sources with direct access to the investigation confirmed to .
Uliarte, 23, was arrested on Sunday when she was identified in at least one video that recorded the moments after the event and in the vicinity of Fernández de Kirchner’s home, sources said.
The judge and the prosecutor in the case are trying to determine what role Uliarte played in the alleged murder attempt.
A new investigation will also be taken of Sabag Montiel, the main suspect in the attack, the sources told .
Both detainees are currently in the Federal Courts of the city of Buenos Aires, said the Argentine Federal Police.
