After leaving the graphics card market after years being an exclusive NVIDIA assembler, supposedly due to the mistreatment to which the green company subjected them, the RTX 4000 series GPUs that the company had designed seem to never reach the market or be will mass produce.
However, that does not mean that there are no prototypes or models prior to mass production, and the youtuber JayzTwoCents has managed to get hold of one “EVGA RTX 4090 FTW3” where you can see how the company improved several aspects of other RTX 4090 in its custom design with triple fans.
For example, the 16-pin PCIe Gen 5 power connector is placed at the end, preventing the cable from being on top, breaking any option of leaving a more or less aesthetic assembly, as occurs in other graphics cards with this connector.
Additionally, the EVGA RTX 4090 features a more compact footprint than other custom RTX 4090s, leaving more options for fitting them into more compact sized cases.
It is curious to see that the model is called “Next Gen Graphics” as it is an engineering model and can no longer indicate the NVIDIA model as it is no longer an authorized manufacturer.
In any case, it seems that we will never see this model on the market or any other from the well-known manufacturer.
