If you are one of the most veteran gamers, we are sure that you will remember in a good way the printed magazines that could be obtained every month in your nearest newsstand. One of them was Nintendo Power in the United States, of which a fan is offering all his digital numbers for free and helping all fans to preserve a part of video game history.
As you surely remember, the Nintendo Power magazines were created to share all the important information about the games from the house of Mario Bros.beginning its publications in 1988 and saying goodbye in 2012.
These magazines are now considered good collector’s items, and thanks to a group of archivists working on a project known as Retromags, all print issues of Nintendo Power can be found at digital format for free, at least until the time of writing this note.
The information was shared by one of the main managers of this project, known as Gumball, and who published the following words:
“All Nintendo Power issues from #1 to #285 in cbr format. As far as I could tell, there wasn’t a collection of all issues in one place, but rather a scattered selection of different sets, none of which were complete So I put this together with the help of several amazing people for you all to enjoy.”

It is worth mentioning that the file with all the magazines has an approximate weight of 40 GB and they are unofficially available in .cbr format (it is also possible to download each issue individually), so it is undoubtedly an interesting way of having a magazine that marked video games and preserve a bit of the history of the industry.
