This week it was released Super Mario Bros. The Movie and more and more fans are witnessing the new adventure with all the characters of the Mushroom Kingdom. One of them is Donkey Kong, who had a big part in the story. However, if you didn’t like his design, a fan recreated a scene adding the version of him seen in the video games.
As you surely know, the friendly gorilla was part of the cast of the Nintendo and Illumination Studios feature film. However, some fans did not take the version of him in it very well.

If you are one of those who think that way, you better take a look at a clip that shows one of the scenes seen in the movie, where Donkey Kong in its original version faces Mario.

As you can see, the short video shows how the movie could have been with the classic Donkey Kong that everyone knows and the result is impressive, so perhaps many fans would have wanted to see something like that on the big screen.

Despite this, and without saying spoilers, we are sure that the character’s new look was enough to fit well in Super Mario Bros. The Movie and delivered moments worth watching over and over again.
